Olson Golf Academy LLC ("Olson Golf Academy," "we," "us") provides golf instruction in Orem, Vineyard, and the surrounding Utah County area. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how our text messaging works.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us about your golf game when you book a lesson or send us a question. If you book online, our scheduling provider also records your appointment time.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you about your lessons.
- To send you the written practice plan and follow-up notes after a lesson.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To occasionally share news about programs, camps, and clinics — you can opt out of these at any time.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers are never sold or shared with anyone for marketing purposes. We use service providers — for scheduling, email, payment, and customer records — strictly to operate the business, and they may only use your information to provide those services to us.
SMS / text messaging terms
If you give us your phone number and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Olson Golf Academy about lessons, scheduling, and updates.
- Message frequency varies — typically only around your appointments.
- Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@olsongolfacademy.com.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. You can book a lesson without agreeing to texts.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Minors
Lessons for players under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, and we communicate with that parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Keeping your information
We keep student records for as long as you are a student and for a reasonable period afterward, so that your lesson history and practice plans stay useful to you. You may ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
Your choices
To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email us and we will take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
